Multifamily Criteria

Standard is focused on properties with 200 or more units located in the Western U.S., or in larger portfolios of properties that might be located anywhere in the U.S.

Our criteria and preferences include:
- Garden style apartments
- 200 or more units
- Mid-range apartments (with rents that are neither the highest nor the lowest in their market)
- Properties that require some rehabilitation and/or more active management
- Properties in better neighborhoods

Standard does not generally acquire new luxury apartment properties, properties in distressed neighborhoods, single properties on the East Coast (unless they are part of a larger portfolio) or properties with fewer than 100 units.

Shopping Centers Criteria

Standard is actively seeking value-added shopping centers to acquire in California. Preference will be given to properties with 100,000 or more square feet, located in the greater Los Angeles or Sacramento areas.
